The Board

The AGL Action Rescue Helicopter is operated as a not for profit organisation by Sunshine Coast Helicopter Rescue Service Ltd.   Our Board,  led by Chairman Don Moffat, is instrumental in driving the operation forward on a completely voluntary basis.

Chief Executive

David Donaldson was appointed Chief Executive in December 2011, taking over from Rob Walford. David joined the Service in 2009 as the Chief Pilot, having previously managed rescue helicopter operations at a number of locations throughout Australia and overseas. David also served in the Defence Force as a helicopter pilot and instructor, and has spent many years as a rescue pilot in the helicopter industry.
