Beerburrum: young woman injured in accident on Steve Irwin Way

The AGL Action Rescue Helicopter has airlifted a 28 year old woman who was thrown from her vehicle when it and another car collided on the Steve Irwin Way at Beerburrum.

The helicopter's flight doctor and flight paramedic treated the woman on scene, before she was taken a short distance by ambulance to the waiting helicopter.

She was airlifted to the Royal Brisbane Hospital
