Conondale: Man injured in accident at gravel plant

A young Mooloolaba man was airlifted by the AGL Action Rescue Helicopter  after an industrial accident at a Conondale sand and gravel plant.

The 20 year old was working at the plant when his arm became caught in a conveyer belt. 

The young man suffered serious injuries to his right arm and was airlifted to Royal Brisbane Hospital for treatment in a stable condition.
