Coolum: woman seriously injured on grandchild's scooter

A grandmother who fell from a child's laser scooter has been airlifted by the AGL Action Rescue Helicopter suffering a serious head injury.
The 65 year old woman was enjoying some holiday fun with her granddaughter when she fell off the scooter on a steep driveway.
The Service's flight doctor and flight paramedic treated her at the family's Coolum home before she was taken by ambulance to the rescue helicopter and airlifted to the Royal Brisbane Hospital.
The woman from England was visiting for the holidays.
