Coonarr Beach: quad bike accident

The AGL Action Rescue Helicopter has airlifted a 21 year old man after he suffered suspected spinal injuries in a quad biking accident. 

 

The Gladstone man was quad biking at Coonarr Beach, south of Elliot Heads, when the bike high sided in the sand.

 

He suffered back injuries and possibly a fractured cheek bone.

 

The rescue helicopter flew the man to Bundaberg Base Hospital.  He was in a stable condition.
