Hervey Bay Boat Club: $30,990 from Bingo donations

What a terrific way of supporting us... The Hervey Boat Club has been donating some of the proceeds of their bingo takings to us since December 2010. So far we have received almost $31,000 .... It's the kind of donation that takes our breath away and makes us realise just how much the community appreciates the importance of what we do and our genuine need for its support.
Our ongoing relationship with the Club will see the AGL Action Rescue helicopter make a flyover at the Fraser Coast Whale Festival Blessing of the Fleet later this year (operations permitting). And we understand we will also be the fortunate recipients of a dinner dance the club is hosting on our behalf on 30 June.
Thank you to the management, the members and the visitors of the Hervey Bay Boat Club for helping to keep us ready to rescue.
