Monto: motor vehicle accident

Posted on 30-Dec-2011

A 19 year old woman and her 3 year old son escaped serious injury this morning in a single vehicle rollover. They were travelling along the Burnett Highway just south of Monto when the accident happened.

Our female patient suffered chest and shoulder injuries while the little boy received multiple abrasions.

Flight Paramedic Kevin Charteris said “they were wearing seatbelts which has reduced the severity of their injuries today”.

Mother and son were airlifted to Bundaberg Base Hospital in a stable condition.

Released: 1630  Friday 30 December
