Point Cartwright: burns victim

A man has been airlifted by the AGL Action Rescue helicopter from a drillship off  Point Cartwright on the Sunshine Coast.   He suffered burns in what's believed to have been a cooking accident.  The 46-year-old chef from New Zealand was using the bbq on board the vessel, Noble Discoverer when the incident happend at around 4.30 this afternoon.   The drillship was 15 kilometres offshore and AGL Action Rescue at Sunshine Coast Airport arrived within minutes.   The crew were able to land on the helipad at the back of the ship and the man was taken to the Royal Brisbane Hospital where he is reported to be in a stable condition.
