Our sponsors and supporters keeps the Service flying. With fuel bills alone costing $700,000 a year that's a lot of sausage sizzles! Our naming rights sponsor, AGL Energy, are our largest corporate donor. But all of our partnerships with the business community and regional councils are very valuable to us.
The area of operations for our chopper fleet covers a huge swathe of south east Queensland. We're grateful for the support of the regional councils in the areas we serve, some of whom have come up with very imaginative ways to support the Service, both funding us directly on a regular basis, but also encouraging staff to donate to this vital community service from their pre-tax pay - so saving them money whilst helping to save lives.
