Hangar Tours

Would you like to join one of our Hangar Tours?

For an up close and personal view take a tour of the AGL Action Rescue Helicopter hangar at Sunshine Coast Airport.  We welcome the opportunity to show our community what we do and how we do it.   Please note that at the present time we are unable to offer hangar tours to individuals, although we are aiming to have one or two tour dates for the public next year.  In the meantime tours are available to:

• Businesses
• Community Groups
• Schools

During the tour your group will have the opportunity to:

• see what happens when an emergency call comes through
• see a rescue helicopter up close
• meet our pilots and crew
• get some great souvenir photographs

We don't charge for tours through the hangar, although we always welcome donations. 

Please note:

• we are limited to a maximum of 15 people per tour, including organisers
• all visitors must provide photo id for security purposes (children under 18 don't need ID but MUST be supervised by an adult at all times
• we can only offer a limited number of tours each year, so we apologise if your request cannot be accommodated
• there will be times when the rescue helicopter and crew have been called out on an emergency, we appreciate your understanding if this happens during your tour
