Volunteering
Would you like to be a volunteer?
Volunteers are vital to the ongoing operation of AGL Action Rescue Helicopter. Volunteering can be hard work, but it is fun and a great way to meet new friends.

Volunteering
Our volunteers come from all walks of life, yet they share one common goal: a passion for the safety of Queensland families. While our rescue pilots are trained professionals, we also need capable people to help with our fundraising, conducting tours and administration.
Occasionally, people with specific skills are required for a one-time task, e.g. carpentry, data entry, etc. Hopefully when we need it, we can count on your support.

Personal benefits
Voluntary work is of course unpaid, but it does provide its own rewards. You'll get to see "backstage" in the hangar area and gain valuable hands on experience in an operational environment whilst doing something really worthwhile. You'll get to meet and work alongside a great bunch of dedicated people and you'll be invited along to to open days and other events.

How do I become a volunteer?
Just call us on (07) 5458 8700 and we’ll organise an interview. Or drop us an email with a little bit of information about yourself and how you think you would like to help us. Thanks.
